Donating a Website to Support Hartlepool Ambulance Charity

We talk about Hartlepool quite a lot because it is the town we live in and the place we have chosen to grow our business. When we get the opportunity to work with good local people doing something positive for the town, we always try to support it where we can.

Over the last few months we have been working with Hartlepool Ambulance Charity to build them a new website. The aim was simply to give them a better platform to share what they do, raise awareness and open up more opportunities for fundraising. Like many charities, they were already doing incredible work in the community, they just needed a stronger digital space to help people see it.

The website was built free of charge through our Resolved Changing Lives initiative. It is something we set up to support charities and organisations doing important work in the community by using the skills we use every day. For us it is a practical way to give something back locally and help organisations that may not always have the resources to invest in digital.

One thing that frustrates us slightly is that charities often know they need to improve their digital presence so they can reach more people and raise more support, but the resources are not always there to make that happen. At the same time, when charities do invest in websites or digital tools, it can sometimes be viewed as unnecessary spending. In reality it is often the opposite. A strong website can help charities raise more funding, explain their work clearly and build long-term support from the community.

Working with the team at Hartlepool Ambulance Charity has been brilliant. The work they do for the community speaks for itself and deserves a lot of recognition. Being able to contribute and support the work they are doing locally is something we are proud of.

Hartlepool is full of people trying to make a positive difference, and we are grateful to have been able to play a part in supporting that. Through Resolved Changing Lives we hope to continue finding ways our skills can help charities and community organisations across the town.
