We’ve brought together four specialist areas under one purpose-driven group: Resolve Beyond provides practical support for broken or underperforming platforms; Resolve Changing Lives delivers digital tools to charities and community organisations doing vital work; Resolve Academy opens pathways to tech careers for those often overlooked; and Resolve Scale-Up helps founders grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Why we started Resolved

1) Expert Fixers – Backed by Two Decades of Technical Development

Before The Resolved Group was our focus, we spent years solving complex digital problems for a global client base — building websites, mobile apps, and eCommerce platforms that had to perform under pressure. From large-scale infrastructure to bespoke system builds, we earned our reputation as fixers by delivering where others fell short. That same deep technical foundation now drives everything we do, giving us the insight and experience to rescue, support, and scale platforms others walk away from.

2) Finding Purpose Through Crisis – A COVID-Era Pivot

The pandemic changed everything — not just in business, but in life. During that time, I watched great people like my wife, a frontline nurse, work tirelessly on COVID wards, doing everything she could to help save lives. It grounded me. It made me reassess what kind of impact I wanted to have — and what kind of business I wanted to build.

That period reshaped our purpose. I didn’t just want to deliver projects — I wanted to help people. That meant using digital to support struggling businesses, offering coaching to those who needed direction, and creating new opportunities for people who thought tech was out of reach. The Resolved Group was born from that mindset — a company built to solve problems with purpose, and to leave people better off than we found them.

3) Becoming the Fixers, From Builds to Support

As we supported more clients, we noticed a common pattern: broken platforms, unfinished systems, and a feeling of being left behind, with the only solution provided being an expensive rebuild. Whether it was an e-commerce site, CRM, or mobile app, too many clients were stuck with underperforming technology and no clear path forward.

That’s why we launched Resolve Beyond — dedicated to rescuing, repairing, and maintaining platforms that still held potential. With a three-hour response time, transparent communication, and ongoing support, we became a safety net for businesses and agencies, offering a more innovative alternative to rebuilding. Clients refer to it as “digital insurance.” For us, it’s simply the right way to do things.

4) Using Tech for Good, Building a Legacy of Impactful Innovation

After establishing ourselves as trusted fixers, we began to ask a deeper question: What if we used that same technical expertise to solve everyday human challenges?

So we started building apps not just for clients — but for causes. We developed tools to support mental health, assist children with dyslexia, help emergency services identify those living with dementia, and created digital learning platforms for spelling and mathematics in schools.

These weren’t commercial projects. They were built out of a belief that technology should help people — especially those who often get overlooked. It was the next evolution of our work: creating solutions that didn’t just function, but made a real difference in people’s lives.

5) Creating Careers, Not Just Jobs – Resolve Academy

As we worked on more purpose-led projects, we saw something else: people with the right values, work ethic, and drive — but without access to opportunities in tech.

That’s why we launched Resolve Academy: to open the door to digital careers for those who might never have considered it possible.

We focused on training and mentoring local talent, often from non-traditional or underrepresented backgrounds. We prioritised attitude over experience, believing that technical skills can be taught — but heart, resilience, and values are priceless.

From young parents to people switching careers later in life, the Academy became a way to change lives from the inside out — giving people the confidence, skills, and support to build futures they never thought were possible.

6) Helping Those Doing Good , Resolve Changing Lives

As we built our team and expanded our impact, we wanted to do even more for the people who give everything to support others, but often lack the digital tools to do it effectively.

We launched Resolve Changing Lives, our not-for-profit division, dedicated to supporting charities, community organisations, and grassroots initiatives. We provide free or low-cost websites, platforms, and app builds — helping them modernise, stay secure, and reach the people who need them.

Each year, we donate a complete end-to-end project to a cause we believe in — no red tape, no catch. Whether it’s in mental health, education, or community support, we use our skills to amplify the work of those doing good.
